Postcard museum

Located in the heart of Morbihan, in Baud, Le Carton Voyageur – Postcard Museum offers a fascinating journey through Brittany’s history and culture through an iconic object: the postcard.
With an exceptional collection of more than 190,000 vintage postcards, the museum invites visitors to discover Brittany as it once was, through landscapes, everyday life, local traditions, occupations and the correspondence of past generations.
The visit is modern, interactive and entertaining. Sounds, videos, photographs, objects and interactive displays bring the past to life and offer a different perspective on Brittany. Visitors can explore a 3D reconstruction of Brittany in the early 1900s, enjoy a photo studio and discover interactive exhibitions exploring Breton beliefs and traditions.
In 2026, to celebrate its 30th anniversary, the museum presents the temporary exhibition “Around the World in 80 Postcards”, running from February 3, 2026 to January 3, 2027.
